Sarah-Jane Hart is the Founder and Director of Drive Hart, where she leads Instructor IMPACT-ADI coaching and training and co-directs a team of Teaching Associates.
Sarah brings a wealth of 30 years of coaching and teaching experience, drawn from her career in sports management and time as an A-Graded ADI (ORDIT).

I am ADI facing last P3 Attempt - Can you Help?
Absolutely, we can advise and help you with your Part 3 attempt. Whether it’s your first, second or last attempt:

I am facing A standards Check - Can You Help?
,Absolutely, we are experienced in supporting ADIs called for Standards Check, and have had great success in turning around those facing their last attempts. We have 100% success rate for clients passing Standards Checks.
The key is getting a clear assessment of your current performance, setting agreed actions and goals for training.
Most SC training requires in-car sessions in Salisbury, and we also suggest becoming a Training Associate to get access to important advice on SC exam format/marking, as well as teaching methods and priority for booking in-car work.

What do you cover in your PDI training?
iA really great question – importantly, Drive Hart IMPACT-ADI covers both exam and business skills – the scope of your training depends on you. We can discuss your needs in a short free consultation.
However, typically, a new PDI on Training Association will cover:
DVSA Exam Competencies for teaching in line National Standards – This covers support for Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 online.
Business skills for running ADI business
Time and Diary management
Managing Income and Expenditure
Wider aspects of business responsibilities (including issues like data protection, safeguarding and managing relationships with students and parents)
How much does training cost?
Our training is fully personalised to fit your unique needs—you’re in control of the cost, duration, and intensity.
We offer clear hourly rates, so after we chat about your requirements, you’ll know exactly what to expect.
For Training Association: there are no upfront deposits, just a simple monthly subscription for Association membership – this gives you online access to support and resources.
For In-Car Assessments/Training we charge an hourly rate and run 2-hour lessons in Salisbury. You pay by bank transfer 24 hours before each in- car session.
Your journey starts with a free consultation, where we’ll help you map out your goals and clarify all costs and timelines. Your needs shape the investment you choose to make in your training experience.

Can I become A Training Associate ?
If you’re interested in becoming a Training Associate – take our offer of a free/no obligation chat with Sarah Hart to see how we can assist you.
Sarah will discuss your training needs, timescales and budget and check that Training Association is right for you and, importantly, that Drive Hart can properly and ethically support you.
This initail discussion is done completely confidentially and at no cost to ensue you’re confident that Drive Hart IMPACT-ADI programme is right for you.
Will I get evidence of my training?
Yes, we use online Student Training Records to provide feedback after every training event, and our webinars are certificated.
The information can be used as evidence for DVSA exam submissions and to show your progress against competencies and key action plans for you to take after every session.
Do you do in-car assessments?
Yes – if you are a Training Associate you get priority to book in-car training in Salisbury. Rates for Training Associates are discounted.
If you are not associated with us, we always endeavour to assist with assessments for a set fee, but we prioritise our Training Associates.
WOULD YOU TIE ME INTO A FRANCHISE/contract?
Drive Hart operates as a service provider – you are our customer. as such, we do not tie you into a franchise contract.
We do have a service agreement with you to set out what you can expect from us and invite you to commit to a min initial 3-month subscription (so we can open up all our resources to you on day 1).
After that, if you are not happy, you can notify us and stop association services, without any penalty.
Do You Sponsor PDIs to go on training licences
Drive Hart has an annual quota of Trainees for sponsorship – we do this so we can properly support our sponsored PDIs through the DVSA Exam.
As demand for sponsorship always exceeds our capacity, we talk to each candidate to assess:
- Training background with Drive Hart or other establishments.
- Our capacity to train a sponsored PDI
- Business fit in respect of working hours/area
- Evidence that our procedures and standards will be met
- We also conduct an in-car assessment of basic control/instruction using role play.
This discussion & assessment inform our decision whether to sponsor a candidate.
